JAPAN'S POLYSICS COMING TO NYC
Ahoy! This is New York Anime Festival Show Manager Lance Fensterman with your weekly behind-the-scenes glimpse at what's going on in the world of NYAF and in the NYC anime community. Tuesday was the season premiere of the final season of LOST, which is exciting and tragic all at the same time. I don't know what excitement Season 6 will deliver, but I can give you some awesome news about Japanese events in NYC.
Japan's Polysics are coming to NYC on February 13! I have only one word, synthesizers. You don't want to miss this.
And, actually, a bit before that, Hikaru Utada will be coming to NYC on February 8th! Utada's show was sold out long ago, but I'm sure there'll be some tweets about it on @ny_anime_fest.
Grab your Polysics tickets before they sell out, too!
While NYCC/NYAF aren't until October, we're cooking up an event in Boston very soon. PAX East and the PAX team has put the call out for more volunteers. If you love gaming and love Bean Town, click here for details.
And, don't forget NYAF tickets are on sale now! Friday passes are $25, Saturday passes are $30, Sunday passes are $25, and Weekend passes are just $45. Get yours now at www.newyorkanimefestival.com, and keep your eyes on www.mediumatlarge.net and www.twitter.com/ny_anime_fest for all the latest news!
